As part of our fraternities goal to make Auburn a better community, the fraternity decided to give back to Auburn through our philanthropies.

Mercy Medical Clinic was founded as a “not for profit” organization in 2000 by a local Auburn physician. After serving on a mission trip overseas, Dr. Dell Crosby, MD had two goals in mind for this clinic: superior primary care to those who could not afford it and to be a witness to his community. The clinic was established specifically to serve Lee County residents who have no form of health insurance and that have a maximum income of 200% the federally determined poverty line. Since their inception in 2000 they have served over 20,000 people and each patient has been witnessed to in one way or another. Although Mercy Medical Clinic has only been around for twelve years, it has positively affected a multitude of people in the Lee County area.

In 2011, Legacy Brotherhood hosted the first annual Have Mercy! Charity Dodgeball Tournament. It was a great experience for everyone involved. Several students across Auburn University formed co-ed teams to face off in the tournament. The tournaments proceeds and t-shirt proceeds were then donated to Mercy Medical Clinic of Lee County to help pay for some of their expenses.

Legacy Brotherhood also helps by serving Rescue K911 of Auburn, Alabama. K911 is a non-profit, no-kill organization who dedicate themselves to reducing the overpopulation, abuse, and neglect of domestic animals. Rescue K911 runs strictly off of volunteer help to help care for the lives of these animals. Our fraternity helps give back by offering our physical service to the rescue. Brothers help park cars on football Saturdays, as that is a major contributor for the rescue's donation proceeds. Brothers also go out to the rescue and help repair, clean up, and do whatever is needed from the rescue.
